ABOUT THE BRAND

Sippin' Panda: A Legacy Reborn in Every Sip

The story of Sippin' Panda began long before its founding, tracing back to 1943 in the French Concession of Shanghai. There, Huang's Family, started as a merchant importing and selling canned coffee and baked goods.

As a key open trading port, Shanghai was a hub for imported goods, and the Huang's family business thrived in the coffee trade.

In 1990, the family expanded its vision, using Mauritius as a springboard to venture into the African market and later extending its reach to Panama. This journey forged a profound and lasting connection with the global coffee culture.

Although the family later stepped away from the coffee business, the legacy was never forgotten. Decades later, with freeze-dried coffee technology advancing rapidly in China and Shanghai emerging as the city with the most coffee shops in the world, Mr. Ralph Chen decided to reignite this ancestral spark. He established Sippin' Panda as a new brand to carry forward the family's coffee heritage, allowing coffee to circulate in the market in a modern, innovative form.

At Sippin' Panda, we believe that coffee enjoyment should be without boundaries. Whether it's pour-over, espresso, or instant, each method is a valid way to experience coffee. We stand firmly against the "coffee hierarchy," asserting that as long as quality is guaranteed, every cup deserves respect.

This belief is why we are dedicated to the category of solid coffee. We are convinced that in terms of purity, consistent flavor preservation, and convenience, solid coffee is the superior form for delivering a guaranteed, high-quality coffee experience anywhere, anytime.

Sippin' like a panda.

In a world that never stops moving, we believe everyone—the discerning, the leisurely, the relentlessly busy—deserves a moment of pure pause. It’s in these quiet interludes, cup in hand, that we truly reconnect with ourselves. So, find your corner, settle in, and embrace the art of doing nothing, perfectly. That’s the panda's way.
